Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information GlintRank collects, why, who processes it for us, and the choices you have. GlintRank is a software service operated by an independent developer based in Beijing, China. Questions go to hello@glintrank.com.

What we collect

• Website addresses you check. When you run a free check or a tool, we fetch the public pages you name. Results are shown in your browser and are not saved on our servers.
• Checkout details. When you subscribe, you give us your website address and, if you choose, an email address. Our payment provider collects your name, email, billing address and payment details; we never see your full card number.
• Emails you send us, and the messages we send you about your subscription.
• Search Console data, only if you connect it or send us an export. We use it to find ranking opportunities for your site.
• Technical logs. Our host records basic request information such as IP address, time and page, which we use for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

We use this information to run the checks you ask for, deliver your subscription (including your first report and AI-drafted suggestions), answer your messages, prevent abuse, and meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who processes it for us

• Creem is our merchant of record. It processes payments, calculates and remits sales tax or VAT, issues receipts and manages subscriptions and refunds.
• Render hosts our website and servers in the United States.
• Resend sends and receives our email.
• Alibaba Cloud Model Studio runs the AI model that drafts suggested titles, descriptions and answers. The public text of the page being improved is sent to it for processing, in the Beijing region of China.
• Google, if you connect Search Console, provides your search performance data with read-only access.

Each provider handles data under its own terms and only for the service it provides to us.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may store small items, such as the last website you checked, so pages can pre-fill it. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Free-check results are not stored. Subscription records are kept while your subscription is active and afterwards as long as tax and accounting rules require. Emails are kept as long as needed to support you. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to those legal requirements.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing hello@glintrank.com. We reply within 3 business days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

GlintRank is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, for subscribers, send a notice by email.
